28 Kothi
Set inside a beautiful villa, this small-scale boutique hotel offers a stylish respite from Jaipur’s chaotic city centre. Contrasting the extravagance, usually found at Jaipur’s palace hotels, 28 Kothi is kept simple and is tastefully decorated with a highly curated collection of objets d’art and mid-century modern furniture.
With just 5 stylish rooms, a lush garden, a peaceful library and a bijou spa, the atmosphere is particularly special: intimate and welcoming, and ideal for solo travellers and couples. On balmy evenings, dining under the stars is a real treat.
47 Jobner Bagh
A bit more classic, but still a far cry from any of the palace hotels. This warm, intimate family-owned boutique hotel is both historic and current but somehow manages to make every guest feel like family while still retaining a hint of formality. Counting only 11 rooms, the whitewashed property sports antique furniture, plenty of greenery and a fantastic rooftop place overlooking the Nahargarh Fort. An excellent base to experience the vibrancy of Jaipur.
Ikaki Niwas
Jaipur boasts some of the best hotels in the world. But if you really want an authentic Indian home style experience then Ikaki Niwas gives you exactly that. Wonderful hospitality, beautiful 12 rooms, phenomenal meals and just a very special place tucked away in central Jaipur.
